This film was made in the 1980s as "Dharti Ki God Mein" but only released in 1996 with a different title. It appears that Weston owned the music rights for the film but never released it.
This film was adapted from the Hindi film "Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke" (1969). The director of this film, B.R. Ishara, had written the dialogues in "Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke".[1]

Na Na Naa Main Nahi Aati - R.D. Burman had previously used this composition for the Bengali song "Na Na Naa Kaache Eshona" ("Ekanto Apon", 1987). The original song was sung by S.P. Balasubramaniam and Asha Bhosle. It was one of the few Bengali songs sung by S.P. Balasubramaniam.
