Album
Akshaye Khanna had signed this film along with Raveena Tandon and had even started filming for it in 1995. However, when Raveena was replaced by Deepti Bhatnagar, he quit, and Puru Rajkumar was brought on board. These changes delayed the film and it was released only in 2001. Producer Pahlaj Nihalani ended up using one of the songs that were shot on Akshaye Khanna in another of his films, "Bhai Bhai" (1997), and did not credit Akshaye in it. This song - "Tera Naam Loonga" ("Bhai Bhai", 1997) - became Akshaye Khanna's first screen appearance, ahead of his official debut, "Himalay Putra" (1997)
