Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit were not paired together in a film for a very long time after this film. The next film in which they were paired was "Total Dhamaal" (2019). They did work together in "Lajja" (2001) but didn't share any scenes in the film.
This was Madhuri Dixit's first film after she got married.
Song
Kay Sera Sera - A.R. Rahman had used the tune of this song earlier in the Tamil film song "Kadhal Niagara" ("En Swasa Kaatre", 1998). The lyrics of the song's mukhda were inspired by the song "Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)", which was first performed by Doris Day for the Alfred Hitchcock film "The Man Who Knew Too Much" (1956).
Kay Sera Sera - After shooting this song twice and not being happy with the results, Boney Kapoor brought in the Tamil film actor and dancer, Prabhudeva, to choreograph it. Prabhudeva then not only choreographed the song but also danced with Madhuri Dixit in it.
Ek Tu Hi Bharosa - A.R. Rahman had composed the tune of this song earlier for a song titled "Oh Bosnia" which he had performed for a concert in Malaysia in 1996.
Ek Tu Hi Bharosa - Singer Lata Mangeshkar appeared on screen for this song.
