When the father of Sardar Khan, who works as an enforcer for a coal mining big wig Ramadhir Singh, is killed by his employer for being too ambitious, the young Sardar vows to avenge his father's death and grows up with a single minded vendetta to destroy Singh slowly but aurely. Meanwhile, there is another feud be tween Khan's clan and that of Sultan, whose families have been clashing since the pre-in dependence era. If that is not all, Sardar, who just can't seem to get enough of women, is caught between his two wives Nagma and Durga. How the two gangs battle it out for su premacy, while Sardar deals with his own is sues at home, forms the rest of the plot.
